Our client needed to improve the wireless network across their warehouse.  They were having frequent drop-out issues, causing their barcode readers to freeze, and ultimately need a cold reset.  This resulted in downtime, and became quite frustrating for the warehouse operatives.  QuayTech assisted in finding alternative wireless hardware to improve the stability of the wireless network.Our client needed a solution to sit alongside their current network. Whilst upgrading all access points across the warehouse.  We did some research into possible options, talking to specialists who had trialed these products in a similar environment. As a result of these conversations, we settled on the access points from Ruckus.  Ruckus has recently introduced a suite of APs for mid-size companies, with patented technology for warehouses.  This meant our client would experience less interference than previously. The interference is as a result of the building and high racking.The Ruckus Access points were so successful, they've replaced the suite of wireless APs in their office now too. Which has also improved connectivity across the entire building.
