What data work looks like in practice
When a business migrates from one system to another - say, moving HR and payroll records from SelectHR and SelectPay into Dayforce - the data cannot simply be exported and re-imported. Field structures differ, date formats clash, historical records need mapping, and edge cases need resolving before a single record goes near the new system.
We have carried out exactly this kind of work: auditing source data, building transformation rules, running parallel validation, and signing off data quality before go-live. The same careful approach applies whether the work involves a full system migration, a one-time data load, or an ongoing integration where data flows between platforms in real time.
